For chaps, measure your thigh at its widest part, "WITH YOUR JEANS ON". That will ensure that you will receive the best fit and a comfortable pair of chaps. The thigh size given in the chart (in inches) is the measurement of the chaps themselves. For instance, if your thigh measures 24 inches, you would choose the 25 inch thigh measurement for the chaps. If you choose to go with the 24 incher, the chaps may be a little tighter than you would like. If your thigh measures 22.75 inches, we recommend going to the 24 thigh chaps. Always choose the next size up. You will feel more comfortable with the extra room.
